Shepley Bulfinch welcomes Rhode Island School of Design architecture student Yin Liu, who is spending ten weeks this summer in Boston as the firm’s 2015 Summer Design Fellow. So far, she’s been working with teams on a range of design challenges, including the current renovation of the Boston office.

Shepley Bulfinch has named Matthew Bohne as the firm’s 2014 Summer Design Fellow. Matt, who will begin his final year in the B.Arch./B.F.A. program at the Rhode Island School of Design, was selected from a highly competitive pool of candidates.
During his ten-week Fellowship in Shepley’s Boston office, he will be addressing a series of design challenges on a range of scales early in the planning and design process.

Shepley Bulfinch has named Amrita Raja as the firm’s 2012 Summer Design Fellow. Amrita, who was selected from a highly competitive field of more than 50 candidates, will spend ten weeks this summer immersed in design challenges in the firm’s Boston studio.
In selecting Amrita as this year’s Fellow, committee members cited the depth of expression in her work and her understanding and articulacy in discussing her design decisions and intent.

Shepley Bulfinch has selected Susannah Cramer-Greenbaum of the University of Michigan as the firm’s 14th annual Summer Design Fellow. She was chosen for the ten-week Fellowship from a field of close to 100 candidates from the country’s top design schools.
Susannah received her Master’s degree in architecture earlier this month. Her graduate thesis, “Face Value,” explores the aesthetics for the mediation of post-industrial sites. She examined the re-use and re-purposing of former industrial sites in ways that preserve both our industrial legacy and our relationship with the natural environment.

Shepley Bulfinch has named Ming Yan, an award-winning master’s candidate in architecture at Clemson University, as the firm’s 13th Annual Summer Design Fellow. Ming was selected for the ten-week Fellowship from a pool of more than 100 applicants drawn from the country’s top architecture schools. In making the selection from a highly competitive pool of finalists, committee members noted Ming’s breadth of expression, blurring the boundaries between landscape and built form with works that are “less about an object and a field and more about the field as a whole.”

Megan Noel Johnson of North Carolina State University, a 2007 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the College of Design’s Professional Architecture program, has joined Shepley Bulfinch as the firm’s 10th Annual Summer Design Fellow. Megan was selected for the ten-week Fellowship from a pool of applicants drawn from the nation’s top architectural schools.
To give her the richest and most diverse experience at here, she will work with a series of different teams on of current design projects during her Fellowship.
