Integrated arts programming and display have become essential to activating learning environments in public, private, academic and special collections libraries. What successful strategies can be used to embed an expanded role for the arts in a 21st century library?
In this session, Kelly and Margaret discuss how architects, librarians, and museum and cultural arts leaders work collaboratively to design successful and varied arts programming for their community of users. They will be joined by Tony Tallent, Director of Literacy and Learning, Richland Library, Columbia, SC; and Nicholas Meriweather, Grateful Dead Archivist, University of California at Santa Cruz.
